The contract for a portable demineralized water production system using RO+EDI technology was signed between Avijeh Palayesh Company and Tehran Power Generation Company on April 25, 2024. The system is to be installed and operate 24/7 at the Mahshahr power plant.
In this project, raw water with a flow rate of 30 cubic meters per hour and a hardness of 2000 ppm is treated using RO and EDI systems, producing demineralized water with an EC of less than 0.1. The output of this unit is used as cooling water in the cooling towers of the Mahshahr combined-cycle power plant.
